Speaker will offer a comparative review of Polypropylene PP-R and PP-RCT pressure pipe and fitting solutions vs. traditional copper, steel and iron pipe system designs. System layout and multiple joining methods will be discussed as well as current standard and approval compliance.

Career spanning over 40 years of experience focused on industrial, institutional and commercial projects for a variety of plastic piping materials involving fluid and air handling applications. These applications include but aren’t limited to both pressure and drainage for single and double containment installations for industrial applications. Institutional and commercial applications primary focus being hydronics, geothermal, chilled water and domestic water service.
Practical experience in efficient fluid dynamics for various plastic piping materials as well as methods to control expansion/contraction, proper supporting and burial. Certified in proper welding procedures including butt fusion, socket fusion, electro-fusion.
Conducted similar presentations over the years at several ASPE and ASHRAE chapters. These presentations have been well received at many local and national engineering firms as well along with the mechanical contracting community.
