$8.00 – $15.00Air Cleaning and Filtration – has the industry learned anything in 2020?
Topic:
Particulate filters used in HVAC systems have been around since the early 20th century. Fire proception, HVAC system cleanliness, and building cleanliness were the original objectives for filtration systems. Over the ensuing years, awareness of indoor air quality and it’s effect building occupants has become much more widespread, which has led to a better understanding of the needs for air filtration in occupied spaces and the development of IAQ solutions to meet those needs. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrust the air cleaning and filtration industry to the forefront of the conversation as the industry becomes more aware of the possibility of infectious aerosols. The presentation will discuss the need for air cleaning, contaminants of concern, system design, technological solutions, and vertical market needs.
