Speaker: Brett Neal, Victaulic
Summary: A demonstration of the various types of balance valves on a live hydronic system, complete with an inline pump and control valves. The program will cover the various types of manual balance valves, automatic flow limiters, pressure independent control valves, and differential pressure control valves used in modern systems with a particular focus on the proper application of each type of valve, as well as strategies to deliver more efficient systems for the building owner.
Speaker Bio: Brett Neal is a balancing sales specialist for Victaulic covering the Kentucky and Indiana markets. Brett has over 7 years of experience aiding MEP engineers and contractors in the design and implementation of balancing valves in HVAC applications. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Brett is an active member of the Fort Wayne chapter of ASHRAE and the Indianapolis chapter of ASPE.
